This account will control the dashboard and all shares.

lowercase, starts with a letter, 2-32 chars (a-z, 0-9, _, -). Will create a matching Linux user.

password

at least 12 characters · 3 of 4 classes: lower, upper, digit, symbol.

TOTP is easier to set up and works offline. Email requires SMTP (configure later in Settings).

Must already resolve to this machine's public IP. Port 80 must be reachable from the internet for Let's Encrypt.
